Kingswood School, where we'll be for a Christmas Market on the 18th of November
Although you are more than welcome to buy our pistachios online (click here to visit our shop) we also really love getting out and about, going to events and meeting our customers face to face. Over the next couple of months we’ve got several fantastic markets coming up, some raising money for brilliant causes and all celebrating the very best produce, so if you can make any of these, do come & say hello!
Feast of Food, Sunday 23rd of October, 10am-4pm
For the past 20 years, this fantastic foodie event has been held at Marlborough College, and so far has raised an incredible £800,000 for Cancer Research UK. We’re delighted to be taking part this year as one of over 50 artisan food & drink stalls, alongside tastings, demonstrations, activities for all the family, and a competition to win dinner at Rick Stein’s new Marlborough restaurant! Entry costs just £3 and all profits go to support Cancer Research UK – for more information, click here.
Kingswood School Market for Malawi, Friday 18th November, 6.30-8.30pm
Kingwood School’s annual market returns, raising money for the Open Arms charity which helps provide homes for Malawi’s orphaned and abandoned infants. It’s the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping, with all sorts of local food and gift stalls, as well as a barbecue, mulled wine and mince pies in the beautiful setting of Kingswood’s 18th century buildings. Keep an eye on the Kingswood School Facebook page for more information, and to find out more about the Open Arms charity, click here.
Great Chalfield Manor Christmas Fair, Saturday 10th December, 10.30am-4pm
This beautiful 15th century manor house is the perfect location for a festive day out in the run-up to Christmas, including all sorts of delicious foodie gifts and food stalls. Keep an eye on the Great Chalfield Manor website for more information nearer the time.
As well as these one-off events, you can also find us at the legendary Frome Independent Market, on the first Sunday of every month between 10am and 3pm. This incredible market celebrates local independent producers and is absolutely not to be missed for anyone who loves their food, although you can also find lots of great crafts and gifts there too. Visit their website for more information, and keep an eye out for special Christmas events too.
